Our Gold Plated jewelry is laminated with a Thin Layer of Gold, while our Gold Filled jewelry is laminated or bonded with Thicker Layers of Gold (at least 5% of total weight). Our Gold Filled jewelry is Guaranteed to last. Gold Plated and Gold Filled Jewelry can last Years with proper care. Both types have to be under really tough circumstances to tarnish.
