Q: What is the difference between Gold Filled and Gold Plated?

A: Our Gold Plated and Gold Filled jewelry is made with Real 14K or 18K Gold. Our Gold Plated jewelry is laminated with a Thin Layer of Gold, while our Gold Filled jewelry is laminated or bonded with Thicker Layers of Gold (at least 5% of total weight). Our Gold Filled jewelry is Guaranteed to last. Gold Plated and Gold Filled Jewelry can last Years with proper care. Both types have to be under really tough circumstances to tarnish. (Unknown chemicals in water, strong PH balance or sweat, storing with other jewelry metals, etc.)

Q: What is Lead Compliant Plated Metal? 

A: Any of our Jewelry that states it is Lead Compliant Plated, is still fantasy jewelry but it is Lead Free and Nickel Free. This jewelry is made with better quality metals but can tarnish if it is not cared for properly. Avoid getting this jewelry wet and avoid storing with other jewelry, mixing metals causes tarnishing.

avoid direct sunlight and humidity.

• remove your jewelry before going to bed.


• remove jewelry when swimming, bathing or showering.


• remove jewelry when participating in physical activities such as exercising, cleaning, etc.


• jewelry should be stored in an air-tight pouch or box. store all your jewelry pieces in separate pouches. all
jewelry is made of different metals, storing different jewelry pieces together can cause a reaction like tarnishing. we provide a plastic reusable air-tight pouch with every jewelry purchase.
